The Children's Fine Art Competition in Celebration of Hong Kong's Hand-Over in 97 will be held on June 21 to July 1.
Southern California Chinese Intercollegiate Soccer Tournament was held in Caltech on March 29 and 30. Caltech Chinese soccer team won the Championship.
ACSSUCR participated in the Chinese New Year Celebration by Southern California Chinese Students and Scholars Association in California State University, Fullerton, on January 19, 1997. Representing ACSSUCR, ZHANG Donghui presented wonderful WuShu stage performance. ZHOU Ping and QING Shan took part in the KARAOKE competition, and won the Second (fifth place) and Third (sixth place) Prizes respectively.
